They were showing some live music gigs on a large screen and the American-style diner theme ran throughout with quirky pictures spotted around the place and little booths to sit in and some stained-glass windows in the door. To add to the wonderful, simple food the atmosphere was great. The service was friendly and quick, and within a short space of time my omelette was before me! EXCITEMENT! It was a huge omelette, served beautifully, with plenty of my chosen fillings of mushroom, bacon and cheese, and a nice little side of fluffy, chunky chips! Everyone else seemed rather pleased with their meals, my soon-to-be-hubby had a steak sandwich which he is STILL raving about, my almost mummy-in-law had a huge and well-executed caesar salad, and my almost daddy-in-law had a beautiful plate of sandwiches. Not many places offer omelette on their menu and as one of my favourite simple dishes, I was excited to have it made for me. I opted for the omelette, with a side of chunky chips.
